    You would have to know my friends. Ive had the republic vs. democracy arguement with them before. This just gives me better wording for my side of the arguement.

    well it's hard to really defend both. They both have some good points, but the republic is in my opinion better but at the same time during our "republic" years slavery was still legal, women were considered lesser class, ect.. There needs to be more of a middle ground but it won't happen. I can't stand hard-lined liberals, just like I can't stand hard-lined conserv's.
