Detectors, don't sleep without them

There was a fire and death up the road last Monday, really got to me.  I had worked with the father for years, not close friends but spent some time together outside of work too.  They were a very close family.  The mother is in the hospital, had to have leg amputated from blood clots, the 2 sons were up here for that and this happens.

So my brothers and sisters please make sure your personal protection is in order, please!  Or if you know of someone that doesn't have one they make great gifts.  I for one had done some remodeling/painting last year and never put the alarms back.  They are now back.  God Bless you Kyle.

We've had a high number of fire related deaths in my town in the last few years. One morning I was going to work about a half hour late and there were fire trucks just showing up to a house engulfed in flames. An 18 year old kid died. Can't help but think if I hadn't been running late, maybe I could have called it in before he died.
    Smoke alarms, people.

And check the batteries even if they are 10 year batteries.
