Did anybody catch Aretha Franklin singing the national anthem in Detroit, I thought she was amazing.

    I thought the opposite. I don't mind a little interpretation when performing it but prefer something more straight forward. Her version was a bit over the top. I much preferred the other 2 games.

    Yep, music is a lot like cigars, everybody has their own taste. I was never a big Motown guy growing up but I appreciated her approach in bringing a fresh rendition to an old classic, even if it did take her an extra minute

    I swear I'm so disappointed. when I saw this thread title I was expecting some ballad type love song in tribute to Artuo Fuente Cigars :(
