Input on pappy van winkle cigars

They they recently went on sale ,and I was wondering how are they are they worth buying or not... has anybody had them before ? I'm really contemplating and getting two boxes,any input would be appreciated.....

I have had the Pappy cigars.  ive only smoked one, so its not the best representation.  It is a good cigar, on the medium side.  It is consistent.  I consider it a good cigar, but it was not knock my socks off, but i would smoke it again.  Not sure if this helps you.  good luck

I've smoked them, don't get the bourbon aged feel but if it's less than $12 a stick, go for it. I enjoyed them.

Did you like this cigar? The family reserve not the tradition cigar? I love them. On sale again for $118 on pappyco.
