Liquor store not the lounge today, the Casamigos Anejo is a birthday gift for Pops. I can say that the Ursula Colorado Buckeye Peanut Butter Chocoltae Imperial Stout at 9% is fantastic.

An early Xmas present from Amanda, she wanted me to come with her today while Boy Wonder was at school since she wanted help picking one out that looked good on me. Always wanted a Tag and lusted after these ands Amanda wanted to do something really big and special this year since she thought I really went above and beyond lately. Love my wife and very lucky and spoiled. Tag Huer Formula 1.

Chris, the problem with being just as much a collector as a smoker is that many cigars that I only have one or two of I hang onto since I only have a few. The good news is that means many have age, the bad news is I always resist smoking them lol. I typically hang onto them until a certain occasion makes me think it’s the right cigar for it. Normally that means several years have passed by.
Case in point i have an Opus X coffin from 2010 that I’ve hung onto since I first joined back in 2011. It’s a Opus X Forbidden X Lancero 2010 that I just haven’t been able to bring myself to smoke since I only have the one. Decided that it’s finally time to burn it so on Monday when Pops and I get together to celebrate his birthday and Thanksgiving I am finally going to light it up. If there is time I may have the Don Arturo figurado that Kelly sent me years back as well. It’s just how things go for me.

Liquor today, no good smoke shops where I’m at. Michters is one of my favorite whiskeys. Heard great things about A’bunadh so grabbed one of those as well. Rest were recommendations at the shop.
