Cabinet humidor at 78*?

Just curious what everyone thinks about letting my cabinet humidor reach 78* or so in the summer? Or a good solution to cool it. The house stays at 78* and and don’t want to lower it(for obvious reasons).

Look into thermoelectric cooling. They make units that are designed to cool cabinets that house electronics equipment. Maybe that would be something you could install yourself.

    And I found these videos.

This seems to be a re-statement of your question in the thread you started regarding your cabinet humidor being too humid when it reaches a temperature of 78*.

At least, that's what I think.

Almost, I was concerned about humidity in that one but now wondering about temp. too! I can decrease the humidity more easily than reducing the temp. Wondering about something like 67% and 78*.

Toss that cabinet and invest in a wineador.

Thanks Yakster, It’s a very nice humidor(a Pendergast), so I definitely want to figure it out as opposed to getting a wineador.

Thanks Bob, thermoelectric May be the way to go. I’ll look into it more.
