Newbie: Season a new cheap 25/50 ct glass top humidor

New to the hobby so I purchased a 25/50 ct glass top humidor. I comes with the black disk. I purchased the BOVEDA 62% RH (67 GRAM) and the Humi-Care Bead Gel Humidification * 2 oz Jar. I also have about 30 cigars arriving (some tubes and some without). Where do I start? Trying to impress my dad so I NEED Help please

Put a small Tupperware of distilled water in the bottom of the empty humidor. Put a brand new sponge in that container that is taller than the water line. Close it FOR 2 WEEKS.
Then take that black disc, wrap it in a paper towel, and place it gently in the bottom of your trash receptacle.
Then put a couple of bovedas in the humidor after the 2 weeks.
Done.

Probably a safe bet your cigars will get there before your humi is ready. Go to your local discount retailer of choice & get a tupperware style container that'll hold all your sticks. When they show up, toss them and a Boveda pack in the container till your humi is seasoned. They'll keep just fine.I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...8
