Yeah it is. Our local market has these Perdue roasters on sale for .99 lb, we bought 4. I picked out the biggest ones I could find. I think I did pretty well.jlmarta said:

We had both our boys and friends of ours for dinner last night. I cooked a 10 pound rib roast for dinner including potatoes, onions, carrots and a whipped horseradish "sauce". It turned out as I had hoped. Everyone enjoyed it and there's some left over for a couple of future lunches.6

Edward @silvermouse here you go. 6 or 8 nice sized russett or Yukon golds peeled and quartered in small even pieces. Soak in water for about 5-6 minutes to get the excess starch out. Drain and rinse, then put in a pan of fresh water and bring r o boil for 16 minutes. Drain in a colonder and put butter and a small amount of milk back on the heat until butter melts. I eyeball everything so I can't give you exact amounts. Put potatoes back in pan ( turn off heat by then) add salt pepper, and garlic powder. Get your electric hand mixer and start slowly, you will need to add more milk as you mix but don't overdue it. You can always add more. Whip until nice and fluffy and there you go. When Dawn was going through chemo these are the only thing she could keep down. Enjoy.
