I have a half dozen 5 gallon containers filled with rice in mylar bags and nitrogen flushed since back in 2009, and a few 6 gallon containers of whole wheat berries packaged the same and a hand mill to grind flour, only two cases of MRE's dated 2011 kept at 50F and more than enough #10 cans of freeze dried food to last about a year or two, and a couple cases of #10 cans of oatmeal, enough pasta vacuum packed to last a lifetime, and tea to last several lifetimes, a few hundred gallons of water and more on tap that is UV treated, triple carbon filtered and reverse osmosis filtered. And the last time I bought ammunition for firearms was more than 10 years ago...
