Christmas Music

I know I will not get much love with this but Christmas music started this morning and I love it!

Seems a little early. Happy for you though.

Usually it doesn’t start here until November 1st
If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

I can't hold it against @genareddog. For people like him, every day is Christmas (and every day is Easter, too).

Not hating, I just wanted to point out that it's still October.
I'll provide my hate for Christmas music and at a later date.

There’s only one good Christmas song. Little Drummer Boy.

Not a fan of Christmas music but here's one many have not heard, I'm guessing. Good story behind it. Tom was asked to cover a Christmas song for this album to benefit the Special Olympics. Instead he contributed an original song and signed over ownership of the song to the Special Olympics so they get all future royalties. That's probably not much but it's still very cool in my opinion.

I have had it on for a month now.

May it bring you joy.
Unfortunately, it does the opposite for me and is difficult to avoid.

Sorry to hear Edward. Just wanted to make people laugh at how much of a dork I am.

Well, happily, we have dorkdom in common.
Actually, I can't listen to any kind of music with lyrics; it sticks days after hearing it. Just the mention of Christmas music has set off a cascade of littlrdrummerboy/amazinggrace/silentnight/pedophileministerhypocritesouldestroyer. Although it will never go away that's old karma on repeat cycle and I just ignore it as best I can.

I apologize for unpacking my baggage here. It was inappropriate for this thread and this list in general.

@silvermouse Families have baggage Edward! We love you in spite of ( or because ) that!

My favorite Christmas song and version. Too early in the year though.
