Made Scotch pies subbing ground caribou for the traditional lamb. Followed the recipe as far as spices went...They were just like the ex monster-in-law used to make. Bland as hell. Forgot that Brit cooking is, at best, adequate. Quick, easy hot water pastry was pretty damn good tho...
