Humidor Changes
I’ll be changing my humidor to 65% from 72%, should I take some cigars and place them in a separate container at 72% to smoke while it transitions, or will cigars left in humidor be ready within a few weeks? Many are large gauge and I’ve heard it can offset humidity of cigars pretty significantly causing them to burn wrong.

They should smoke better at the lower humidity. I wouldn’t leave any at 72rh.

They will stabilize, expect a few weeks to months, unless they're Gurkha's, in which case you give them 10 years and check one. Following its certain failure, throw the rest away.

I think I would just switch them all over to the 65% and keep smoking them as I please, giving no thought to whether or not they have settled down to the 65% or not.

Don't forget how well instant espresso powder works if you make a paste with it and slather it all over the inside of your humidor.
