Humidor Changes

I’ll be changing my humidor to 65% from 72%, should I take some cigars and place them in a separate container at 72% to smoke while it transitions, or will cigars left in humidor be ready within a few weeks? Many are large gauge and I’ve heard it can offset humidity of cigars pretty significantly causing them to burn wrong.

They should smoke better at the lower humidity. I wouldn’t leave any at 72rh.

Some people dry box their cigars a day or two before smoking them, I don't see changing the humidity in your humidor any differently, just change out the Bovedas and smoke them normally.
