Did you know a coach can decline a penalty shot and take a power play instead? Just saw it for the first time. Up 3-0 with seven minutes left, they decided to shorten the game by two minutes instead of add a meaningless goal. They scored anyway.
Edit: this was a college game, no idea if the NHL has this option.3 -

Watching the US vs Latvia in their first game in the World Juniors. Luckily I saw it and was able to record it as I was at work.

Surprised no one posted how jager dressed as owner at 51 as to not allow his team get fined for canceling games; then gets two assists. His team only scored two goals, and if read correctly was a plus 2 in their 5-2 loss.

All 10 players who were on the ice in a game between the Tampon Frightening and the VGK received game misconducts and roughing calls at the same time last night, and all 10 were ejected. 120 penalty minutes issued at the 12:16 mark of the 3rd period 😂

That explains it. My son was at the game, sent me a photo of a bunch of equipment laying around on the ice saying "things did not go well". I wondered what that was all about.
Probably Vegas cheating was my guess, but I wasn't there, so I don't know.
