Happy Easter

Got ready for church, the wife was finishing up getting lunch ready. Turned the oven on to pre-heat, come back to put the ham in, the oven isn't working. Luckily I have another house close by so I take the ham there. Missed church but the grandkids come over for lunch and hunting Easter eggs. They start out the back door and a large black snake is laying on the patio across the doorway. So I head out the front door, grab a stick to pick the snake up, come around the house and find a black snake in the yard, pick it up and take it out to the ditch. Come back in and they are telling me the snake is still out there. It was but now it's under some chairs and a grill so I can't get to it. Finally get it to move off the patio and it goes down a whole by a stump. Come back in tell everyone the snakes are taken are of. Had a nice egg hunt and the kids play in the yard. Don't know if the daughter - in - law will let the kids play in the yard again when she found out I didn't kill either of the snakes.
