Pasteurization doesn’t remove anything from milk besides bacteria. The temp is raised to a point that it kills what bacteria is there. None of the nutrients are removed and nothing is added.
Homogenizing is a different story. That’s when chemicals such as chlorine bleach are added to milk.

I worked on a dairy farm for about a year when I was younger. Clorox was added to the milk twice before being picked up daily and once as it was added to the truck.

That's what I was thinking too. I don't drink much milk, and when I do, it is raw, but my recollection is all "store-bought" milk says "Pastuerized and homogenized" on the label.

Yep, pretty much all of it is if it’s bought in a store. I’d imagine you could probably buy some at one of those Whole Foods stores but I can’t say for sure.

Well, I don't live in NC, so it doesn't matter to me, yet. I read that it is a roll-back to pre-pandemic laws and I understand the reasons for the ban, but I am immunocomprimised and wear a mask when around other people or in enclosed environments other than my home. It is not an overreaction and I am not advocating others wear a mask. If I catch the disease of the week I'll get more sick than the average bear. A law that prevents me from protecting myself when out in public isn't fair.
