Thinking about coffee, I'm thinking I'll bring my Brazen to make pots but I loaned my good hand grinder to the kids along with an espresso machine so I need to consider which grinder to bring... and coffee of course.

I've got that pretty much covered. I have an older Compak K-3 that I use as the main grinder, and a Rancillio Rocky as a backup. Also have a fancy hand grinder.
I just checked our group reservation and we got @VegasFrank confirmed for a cabin! I have the sites held until feb 15th but I can extend that if needed. If anyone needs more time just let me know and i can extend it out another week or so.
On Sunday I did the test run on the brisket and it came out fantastic! I made burnt ends with part of the point and it was a success.

Ok I'm back... it's been a rough few days here. Tuesday the 18th was my birthday and at 8:30am I was informed there was a new fishing pond here and it was growing rapidly! Turns out our water main broke and I had to shut off the water to the entire property. 3 days later they finally got it fixed after at least 6 failed attempts. I can't wait to see the bill from the plumbing company
I haven't had much time to do any prep for the Herf but I will be doing that in the next 2 weeks. We have a bunch of metal folding chairs and folding tables here, so we can use those for anyone who doesn't have a seat. I'm planning to set up my backyard as our main hangout area. I have a table and chairs plus the smoker and grill there, plus a fire pit and that area has a nice sized awning over half of it for protection from the elements.
All of the campsites here have fire pits, including the cabins. I will have my fire pit fully stocked with wood but if anyone wants to have a fire at their site we sell a pretty good bundle for $11 at the store.
We provide free coffee at the office (think Denny's coffee) but Yak and I will be slinging gourmet coffee to whoever needs it.
I will be smoking a huge brisket, and I'll try to think of some other side dishes to go with it. I appreciate the offer but no need to send anything, I'm happy to take care of it. I have a few coolers here and will stock them with ice so no need to bring coolers unless you want to.
I was thinking we could all go to town maybe on Friday or Saturday to visit the local cigar shop which is called Sequoia Cigars and possibly get a meal together while we are there.
There's not much for activities here but I do have a nice corn hole set so we can have a corn hole tournament.
