    That shag cut burned quick. Anyhow, the Meer came with a 2nd stem, supposedly genuine amber. Funny thing is, the stem doesn't fit the pipe.

    I believe you're right. A cigarette fits in there perfectly. Now the question is, why? I've never seen anyone smoke a cigarette through something like this, ever.

    Just to be clear ^^^ , and while the obviously funny interpretation may apply as well, I seem to remember pictures of FDR smoking with a cigarette holder. And Thurston Howell III.

    If I’m not mistaken the Nic/tar stains were also part of the reason for the gloves worn by a lot of the aristocratic crowd.
