My herf hut remodel project

One of the things I regret about moving down to Visalia is not having a nice place to enjoy a cigar when it's 110° out so I made a plan to rehab an old storage shed behind my new pad.
This appears to be something like a "Tuff-Shed" (not sure if they're nationwide), they are all over out here in Ca. It's roughly 12' X 10' and it already has a sub panel with a few outlets and some shop lights but it was FILTHY inside... full of dust and cobwebs and piles of crap the managers left behind.

I got it emptied out into the dumpster and spent almost a full day with the shop vac and broom and got it pretty clean. Today a buddy of mine from the cigar lounge came out and got it insulated and fixed the entry step, etc. I wish I had time to do it all myself but that's not working out so I'm glad to have the help.

We are installing an exhaust fan on the rear gable end and i have a spare in-wall AC unit that is the perfect size so I'll get that going next week. I haven't decided what to line the inside with. I could do sheetrock but I'm thinking maybe OSB or plywood so I can hang stuff up wherever I want and not have to worry about finding a stud.

Here's a pic from this afternoon:

I've been using a sheet wood called luan, thin but blemish free usually, looks like sheet rock when painted, and it's cheap and easy to work with. Seems to hold up to hanging pictures etc., but I wouldn't get carried away with anything too heavy.

Everything was under control. We had a giant bottle of water on standby

I don't have problems, just more work to do.

It was close!! @Olekingcole fumbled and kicked around AND then picked up a burning bottle of gas 😂😂😂

A good cigar and the open road solve most problems.

The kicking was to make dust. It was to make it more cinematic
