Tinnitus Relief

YaksterYakster Posts: 29,655 ✭✭✭✭✭

The ringing in my left ear has been very strong today. I'm going to try the techniques in this video for five days and see if I can reduce the ringing. After one session it does seem a bit better.

@11thGenSoutherner is this the video / technique that you remember seeing years ago?

Please keep us informed. I'd love to not hear that one long note that's plagued my nights and days for the last several years.

Looks like the one. He did another video about 5 years ago that is a little different but helps as well

I haven't been doing this consistently enough to assess any results yet.

    Did it help?

Only done two sessions and tinnitus in my left ear is still pretty bad.

Just noticed after kayaking, eating, and drinking a beer today it's much better.

When I read this thread it got worse because I was paying attention to it. Didn't notice until then. It is constant for me but only when I notice.

None of that nonsense seemed to work, but I didn't stick with it. I found a way to go from ringing in just the left ear to full-blown stereo ringing in the ears...

Mine has always been in both ears with same volume (if you can call it that) levels. Sometimes lower. Sometimes higher. Constant cadence though. Sometimes it last s for a bit while other times hours. Never had any pain issues. Just annoying. Had this 💩 my whole life. Don’t think it will ever go away.

A good cigar and whiskey solve most problems.

Mine's usually pretty dim, but we had the fire alarm system at work break last week and go off for hours. The ringing has been loud enough to drown out voices since...

Mine is non stop. Except when sleeping. At least I have grown used to it. I thought for a while it would actually drive me insane.
