Flooding is getting crazy on the Ohio

2 locks and dams have shutdown operations and more is expected. Once Smithland lock and dam shuts down then the Ohio is effectively closed from Paducah on up. The dam at Louisville is shutting down today.

    Then what? You tie up somewhere on the bank and wait it out? And smoke cigars?

    That’s pretty much it. Find a spot where the drift is on the other side of the river and the current isn’t so bad.
