One blemish but other than that its well carved. Decent sized bowl. Pretty much what I expected for the price. Not sure why I bought it, impulse I guess.

Received a slightly stepped on package from PA today. First name was spelled correctly, which is unusual, last name was not, which is not unusual, there are no "D"s in it, but the Scottish clan affiliation was correct, so, all. is good.This will be interesting, as I smoke very few aromatics. Part of the reason I joined this pass. Educate the palate.
I'll probably get started on this tomorrow or the next day. I think I'll smoke them all in the IMP Meerschaum with a good cleaning in between. Equal footing, or something to that effect.

Stocking up. What does everyone think about the McConnell blends? I'm on the hunt to find something that comes close to scratching the Mac Baren HH itch. I know nothing will but a VA/DFK flake with some quality would make it easier, so I don't burn through my MB reserves. Pun intended.

Made up what I call "Snake Bite" even though there is no bite. 12oz worth. Some will be mixed with an extract/alcohol solution to try making an aromatic. We'll see how that goes later today.
