Beckman's makes an excellent apple pie; @memento_mori lives next to a place that also makes wonderful apple pies. For the ice cream, Blue Bell is a favorite but Umpqua and Tillamook are both delicious. There was another brand out of the Northeast that made ice cream specifically for a university in Missouri and was supposed to be very good, as well. Oh, what was it called?
