I'm loving that shape, grain and plateau. The pipe is nice, too.

Hope you guys are as happy with your Nordings as I am with mine. I alternated smoking my two for about a week without smoking any other pipes. They're doing very well. The fit in my hand is awesome.

I have had some difficulties getting a pipe cleaner to pass through without removing the stem, so I've been finessing the stummel with the conical end of a nut-pick, and using a wire shank brush to smooth out the transition. It's working pretty well, about 50% of the time now. If it doesn't completely eliminate the problem I guess I'll invest in a shank reamer.

Like Shawn, I've been smoking some W.O Larsen, along with some Davidoff Danish in mine.

That’s why they’ve all been buying Nordings

If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

Steve, I’m sure you are aware, but on any big bendy type pipe, I bend the pipe cleaner down as I insert every couple inches. This usually allows the cleaner to make the transition from stem to stummel. Give it a try.

Definitely. I've been eyeballing them for a while with the idea they'd be around. Now that it's not the case... 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if that was the result of the oxblood soak that Yak mentioned in the other thread? Looks awesome.

They don't use ox blood any more. Calcification is done by heating up the pipe, it seems like it's fine more often with meer from Africa rather than meer from Turkey.
