Selling a humidor

Good afternoon, new to the board, didn't know which forum to post, but looking to sell a rather unique humidor and figured there would be a collective of knowledge here...

75 year Anniversary Montecristo Humidor - need to move it... so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which shop did it come out of?

Neighbor had it -- I took it in his divorce/move out sale - Not sure of the origination but definitely somewhere in south florida

There were 750 made, so in all honesty, they’re not that unique. If I remember correctly they came with 300 cigars. That’s where most of the value would have been for resale.

Only 750 makes it pretty unique imo and in most calculations. Just looking for a new home

    88 of these…

    66 of these…

    20 of these…

    10 of these…

And I won’t even mention the countless number of one offs that are out there.
In the world of cigar humidors…1 of 750 is not actually unique. You can find several for sale on eBay right now that have been there for awhile.

Sorry my guy…. @Rdp77 is right. Not that unique and we are not sure of how it was kept. Was it in a damp basement or musty garage? Was it stored in a room where cigars were smoked…? I’m not trying to be a jerk, but if it were at a yard sale for $30 in perfect condition I would be in….. for $40…. I’m out.

Can you post a photo of it please. Inside as well.

it has been in air conditioned room (Dining room ) and it in great conidition

I understand where you are all coming from.. but 1 in 750 IS unique.... you just have the highest of standards or like to point out simple edits

You are talking like I am trying to sell a Timex watch and comparing it to a Patek.. when it is more along the line of an tag -- unique to those that want it but not everyone can have it

Its a beautiful humidor but too rich for my wallet.

If my bid of $5 wins it I might just be willing to risk having him ship it to my local UPS pickup station.

This is what it was worth. You could have gotten it for $6,000 cigar rings! Damn I have 6,000 right now. Too bad they sold them all.

If yours is actually number 653 out of 750 and you are the guy from the other thread 13 years ago, I will give you $5,000 for the humidor just for being a relentless prïck.

Understood.. and hear you on this... and believe me, I am on enough forums to see the idiots that pop in and out... unfortuanately for me the time to contribute to the daily here is not in my allotment... figured the knowledge here would help to lead to a sale (move this out of the house before wife sets it on fire) of the humidor...

see if a local tobacconist will take it on consignment, gets it out if your house and the store doesn't have to pay up front, win/win.
