I don't know about you fellas but I'll be watching the youth of the world compete. I care less about what country they hale from I just enjoy the drama and excellence.

70-- 90 mph in the men's downhill. I remember skiing Aspen mountain years ago. I was in a steep section when a shadow came behind me and over me. The shadow maker hit the slope 20 yards in front of me and disappeared in a cloud of snow. Found out that the guy who jumped over me was part of the Italian ski team on a training run.

They have mentioned Dave Christian from the 1980 team, uncle of Brock Nelson who is on the current team, several times during the games. Got this a while back from a coworker.

I have been fortunate enough to be able to watch our men's hockey team win a Olympic gold medal first in 1980 and again in 2026. I saw both teams live on TV.
On another note Alysa Liu performance was an absolute joy to watch. She commanded the arena even with raccoon colored rings in her topknot.0
