I definitely like how adding a photo is so easy now.

it does seem a bit easier now. But when I saw it was updated I did think, here we go again.

I don't have problems, just more work to do.

I'm enjoying the WYSIWYG changes, and the fact that my images are now using the full width of my browser instead of being resized much smaller when I upload them. Embedding YouTube links is also WYSIWYG with several options that I haven't played with.

If someone figures out how to get the forum to get a picture from the camera instead of the gallery, let @peter4jc know.

I figured it out, @Yakster. But don't ask me how it's done. :-)

I had a little trouble embedding a YouTube video from my mobile device earlier. It was just showing the URL and not the embedded video. At first I thought the problem was the short link, but after editing the message several times and trying different URL formats, I discovered that if I hit enter above the YouTube URL that the forum recognized it and embedded it.

There's a trackback feature, nice. Just click on the date next to the poster's name in a quote to go back to the original post.

Is anyone having issues with links? Nothing happens when I click on a URL in posts. It’s not really a link for me, just an address. Used to be it would go to a page that said You Are Now Leaving the Forum…. But now, nothing. Is it just a matter of needing to copy and paste into the browser, or do I need to change a setting, or what?

I've noticed this, but what I do is click on the link and when I'm on mobile, it highlights the link and shows an option to open it which skips the message about leaving CCOM so I'm fine with that.

When I'm on my computer, I just click on and highlight the link and then right-click and select the Go to https://www… option.

No real need to copy paste, but different steps than before.

When I’m mobile, I can’t even click on the link, clicking has no effect, no highlighting. I think it’s the same on the computer, but I’ll have to check again.

It's like highlighting a regular word on mobile by long pressing the word, but it selects the whole URL. Play around with it some. It also may be differences in browsers since I use security and privacy focused browsers: Brave on PC and Quetta on mobile.
