Question about AJ sticks

Has anyone noticed when lighting up an AJ stick the first few puffs are fully loaded with spice but after 30 seconds the spice fades rapidly? Anyone know how that happens? Is it related to possibly over heating the foot?

    I did notice that. But I don't think it's just AJ's blends.
    Perdomos do it a ton!!!

    I noticed that on some Padilla and DPG sticks as well. But AJ in general has some tasty, complex sticks.

    Last one I noticed it on was the Virture which I didn't expect because its a mild cigar. Tons of spice off the bat.

    Yup. AJ put in just a touch of ligero in the Virtue. Enough to give it a kick, but nowhere near the ligero avalanche in the Ruination.

    This is common in most cigars, not just AJ's. Typical pepper profiles are heavy initially, then gradually fade, then re-appear in the last inch or two.

    a lot of Rocky Patel sticks do the samething too.

    +1 on this thread.... Rockys for sure..... One that doesnt lose it is the Diesel Unlimited that bad boy Rocks!
