Frozen pipe. !!! Grrrrr...

My water heater is on the northeast side of the house, and the pipes in and out of it are both exposed. Last night they froze, and I'm waiting on them to unfreeze so I'll know which way to jump... Aggrevating...

That can happen up here a lot in colder places. If you have a trouble light you can use the heat from that to help thaw the pipes faster and safely Cabi. You can also use a heat gun if you have one. PLEASE do NOT use a torch. Too many guy's have started their house on fire that way. If the tap and exposed pipe are wrapped in insulation they won't freeze again.
