Took the wife on a motorcycle ride today, it was nice by the West Coast beaches!! Mid-70's. She even got a little chilly while riding. But back at home...it was closer to 90. It had gotten to 85 in the house!

My child bride and I along with our son and his wife will be spending the next three days over on the coast at Bodega Bay. The forecast is for 74 on Mon. and Tue. and 78 on Wed. Will be taking along sufficient stogies to last me through the ordeal.

I love the heat. Give me a 100 degree day over a miserable 10 degree day any time. Winter is hell. I wish I still lived in Tampa.

I'd prefer 80 or so, but I'm with you. I've had frostbitten ears, fingers, toes, etc., too many times. (thanks, Uncle Sam), swore I'd never curse the heat again. Last week heat index was 107, I was out mowing the lawn.

I miss the cold in summer, and the heat in winter. But I love spring and fall for who they are.

Yep first time it's ever been in the 90's in July, at least in Indiana. LOL.

Hit 86 in the hanger today so by thurs. it should be around 90 in here. I've got a fan on tho. LOL. Could be roofing a house I suppose. Stay cool gents.

Just got home from work. 98* with a heat index of 102* plus 35% humidity and no shade. I'm outside about 70% of the day too. Took an infrared thermometer and shot it inside some of the vehicles we gotta get in and out of they were 160*-170*. Freakin oven. Needless to say I'm in for the night.

Temp over 95 and heat index over 110. Humidity over 70%. Not good for a place that gets to -30f temp -80 wind chill in the winter. A body can't get used to that swing in a 5 month time period.
