Thanks to many of you, I have had the opportunity to give some sticks to some true warriors. Getting pictures is sometimes difficult because of the types of units that I work with, but a LCDR sent me a couple to share:

    Yea still havent figured out Navy Insignia,, especially enlisted.

    Air Force is simple, Count the star and then stripes for paygrade, e4 three stripes one star, e5 = four stripes one star . doesnt matter if stripes are up or down.. It was a little more confusing when I was in, cause we had a subdued star for e2 and e3 and there were two e4's, one with a subdued star which was a Senior Airman and the other with a normal star which was Sgt. I know, I know,, more than you want to know,,,lol

    Always brother. I feel like a peddler. We are a very small compound but have a unique mission and we get people who come in from time to time who have never been here. Everytime someone new comes by they get "hey, you smoke cigars? Yeah, want some?" lol.

    Even though I'm a Navy vet, I agree with Rudy. The Navy uses some strange designs on their insignia, such as:
    Aviation Fire Control Technician. This is actually off my old uniform. It's a freaking flying bar stool, for crying out loud!
