50th Birthday Cigar

My 50th birthday is in September and I have planned my R&R so I will be home in the states for it. I have some Opus X's, Gurkhas, and Cuban Cohibas in my collection. I want that special cigar for that night. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    I really enjoy the Padron Anniversary cigars....either the serie 1926 or 1964. Both are tremendous in my book.

    A Cuban Cohiba, a Gurkha and an Opus X. You only turn 50 once, why limit yourself?

    I have a Cuban Cohiba in my humi that im saving for something special. I would go for that one. Turning 50 IS something special :)

    Maybe a Fuente Anejo or DOn Carlos. How about a Cuban Monti #2? I agree with the Padron recommendation too. Oliva Series V

    If you can get your hands on it, Gurkha His Majesty Reserve. Thats a $750 Cigar. I would say thats going all out.

    I would go for a PAM 80th. What a wonderful cigar for a special occasion, great burn, great flavor, great look. Truley a flawless cigar (Besides the Price)

    I've got the same decision to make in a few weeks. Candidates currently in the humi are an ISOM Cohiba, a VSG, and a Padron '64.

    Thats very true. But with a $750 price, you would think it has to be good. But then again what might be good to some might not be good to others. I am definetly curious about it, I dont have $750 for a cigar but I sure would like to try it and decide for myself.

    How about a $50 cigar and a $700 escort... At least in THAT environment price is indicative of taste....

    Mine (50th) will be the 27th of this month and I'll be making the same decision ...A nice appropriate smoke to set back and relax and reflect over the past 50 years good and bad ...I had not really thought that much about it till this thread popped up and now I do think it should be a special smoke and a time for contemplation ...

    I think if I went that route I might not see 51.
