Has anyone purchased a cigar that completely disappointed them?

Carlos Torano Virtuoso - huge disappointment to me - it was "plugged" and wouldn't stay lit. I gave up on it and threw it out the window at about 75 MPH on the interstate. Never again will I buy that one.

Sorry to say Rocky Patel Connecticut..Put it out less than halfway through and I usually burn my fingers and lips...that said, I love most everything else by RP..

Two high end that disappointed me were the Titan and Oliva V. Both had potential of great flavor but wrre plugged or had other draw problems. Going to give them both another try though.

Check out Urbino's Review under " Ratings and Reviews " Urbino Log on another thread here. Urbi sure did not care for that one.. He is just starting to get over that bad experience... He needs about Five Sherpas and another dozen Purple Legends to help him forget.

CAO Soprano, too spicey for my liking but I did finish most of it. I had one from the Cusano line and another from Camacho but they both didn't impress me at all. Then again, you can get that one cigar that wsnt made right for some reason. I'll have to try them again or maybe something else from their lines.

    Sadly, no, he really didn't.

Now that's a plan. And they're both so cheap, it's economically feasible!
  • The most disappointed I have been with a cigar would have to be is with, believe it or not, is the Gurkha Regent. I thought the flavour lacked a little and the cigar fell apart as I smoked it, that was very disappointing. Sorry to all the Gurkha fans out there.

LMAO I just read urby's review of the Sherpa. If I taste Monica Lewinsky on a cigar, I'm buying a box for everyone. Wait what would Monica taste like? Tuna? I wonder if ol' Billy Boy smoked that stick, probably gave it to Dub-ya as a house warming gift.

Maddy.. I'm telling you I have laughed out loud just remembering that one about a dozen times. I'll be smoking a cigar and one day I'm going to say "THERE IT IS !!" what a character..

LMAO! "Wrong" seems to be a term to describe a lot of discussions as of late, pretty much since urbino joined the ranks.... hmm.
