Velveeta shortage...or marketing ploy.

In the past 3 days we did most of our monthly shopping and hit 3 stores.

There was no shortage in any of the 3 stores. Sam's had 5 packs and the other 2 had plenty of singles a 2 packs.

What I could not find in any of the stores was the Mexican white cheese dip which was a disappointment. So I guess it will be Velveeta and Ro-Tel. Some ground beef, a splattering of sour cream and roasted corn...that should do it.

    Maybe they took a page out of Fuente's book. Slap on an ornate label to the new VelveetaX packaging and people will swear it's the best tasting liquid cheese around.

    I'd have never survived that.
    I can't eat an 8 oz steak, let alone 8 oz of cheese.
