Manual Transmissions. I would prefer to have one now if it didn't impact resale.

An honest to God Service Station
    Gas at .50/gallon
Concert T-Shirts for $5.00 and tickets for $8.00
    The Arcade
    not wearing seatbelts
Not knowing the ingredients in food etc
I don't remember any of that except the arcade! :)

How about renting a VCR, or just having one and walkie-talkies as toys. Stupid cursive classes in school may be going away as well.

I voted against the Oregon seat belt law in Nov 1990 and it went into effect in Dec of 1990 and Washington passed their's in 1985.

Anyone remember getting back handed by Mom for standing up in the back seat and hanging on the back of the front seat?

Why it is referred to as "roll down the window"
    ... or dialing a number.

Except that they still have those and you can still teach your kids how to drive a manual transmission. Car enthusiasts will keep them alive for a while longer.

    Hello, directory assistance.
Or calling a number (used to be 555-1212 in our area) and getting, "at the tone, the correct time will be........"
Haaaaa! I remember those numbers! Ours also told us the temperature after the tone.

When dogs roamed the neighborhood unleashed and boys roamed the neighborhood likewise.
“It has been a source of great pain to me to have met with so many among [my] opponents who had not the liberality to distinguish between political and social opposition; who transferred at once to the person, the hatred they bore to his political opinions.” —Thomas Jefferson (1808)

You're one of an extremely few folks who know that, Tony. I think Kelly died around 1975 but I was a total Pogo fan. That was the absolute best strip going - bar none... :-)

My brother is a huge Disney collector.
Years back, I bought a Walt Kelly cell from "The Reluctant Dragon"
You can see the similarity between the little boy and Pogo.
The cell is supposed to be a work from Walt Kelly and Ward Kimble.
I'd like to think my brother still has it. LOL!
