    we're not supposed to talk about them on here, but i will just say that 6 of the cigars in there retail to make up the cost of the whole deal. to me if i had the cost to spend on this i wouldn't be thinking twice about it. You aren't going to find those type of cigars in a sampler for that price.
    thats what i was thinking... not alot of those i have tried so im leery of pulling the trigger on unknowns... but what you guys are saying is what i needed to hear.

    Yea you should read about it. They moved production to Miami. Seems like a whole new (probably worse) line.
    I like the old blend so much it will be a while before I try the new one. I will not be searching it out unless it starts getting rave reviews.

    The herf sampler isn't bad, but I got the exact same sampler w/herfador and lighter for free back in November when I purchased a box of something.

    Now those coronas look tasty.

    I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot.  I will smoke anything, though.

    Haven't been disappointed by the El Triunfadors yet. They're good cigars, and you can't go wrong with a 5er.

    Nice that they had some deals on cigars that rarely are on sale, but it definitely wasn't madness. Only one item for sale sold out the whole time that I saw. A few years back it was definitely madness, with deals you couldn't say no to. Of course then people complained because they missed deals since they sold out so quickly. FWIW, I didn't make any purchases this year. Nothing really jumped out. Hope the apology sampler last year wasn't the end of what the madness used to be.

    I picked up one item. I remember years ago the east coast people would get pissed that they had to stay up late while the west coast people got to grab deals at a much more reasonable time for them. And those deals would would sell out within hours. Hell, sometimes within minutes. Only to be immediately replaced with another great deal. Maybe we have all become a little wiser when it comes to what a "real" deal is or maybe we are just concerned about paying the mortgage. Or maybe "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you just might find, you get what you need!" Hell I don't know, but I am happy with the one item I picked up.
