Ken Light! The Oliva Serie V has been one of my favorites since the first one I tried. This, however, was my first Serie V Nub... and it was absolutely incredible! Thank you, brother, for this amazing treat! All that Serie V goodness packed into a concentrated package! Wowzers!

I think that's the new blend. No idea who blends it now, but I hope it was good. I was a big fan of Padilla before he discontinued all the old lines.

If I remember correctly, Oliva took over the blending... I could have just made that up though.

Don't know if they took over the blending but Oliva did take over distribution and some production....

According to a CA artcile in Sept 2012....

"Padilla .... cigars [are] now .... distributed by Oliva Cigar Co.
Oliva .... makes two Padilla cigar lines, the Padilla Reserva and Reserva Maduro....
Though Oliva will be distributing all Padilla products, lines such as Padilla Miami will continue to be produced elsewhere.
Padilla has recently added two new lines to be produced at the Miami factory El Titan de Bronze, and plans to continue producing those and other lines through non-Oliva factories."

So far doing good. Great draw and lots of good smoke. A little bit strong but already mellowing out. I will report back if it goes downhill.

Today I smoked my first MoW, which just happened to be a Puro Authentico from Doug (aka Puff_Dougie). Just grabbed it at random after opening up my humi and I can see why someone said they're like crack! Jumped into my favorites list after just one! Very good and very affordable. I can see myself buying a box in the future! Thanks Doug! image

Glad you enjoyed it, bro! Was just thinking the other day, I've fired out dozens of cigars and have never seen any of them end up in this thread. I was starting to think that nobody liked the smokes I sent. Can't go wrong with the MOW PA though! Looks like I may just have to send you some more... :^)

No pics, but Carrie and I smoked a few tonight. A Regius from Roman, a 1502 from onestrangeone, a Tat black from Chuck, and a Zino Embassy from Lee. Thank you everyone. They were all delicious.
