Post your Fathers Day Cigar Gifts

That's awesome! I won't be getting my cigars until next Tuesday and don't know when the rest of my gift will be delivered. A local B&M is having a Montecristo event for the new Casa De Montecristo line so I'll be picking up some of those. I'm also getting a pair of walk out shorts and shirt from my favorite UFC fighter. Will post pics once I get everything

It includes some Zino headphones, tshirt, and cocktail shaker: In addition to 14 cigars spanning the entire Platinum line: Gotta say, this might have been the greatest cigar day ever between this and the gang war hit I received today.

I feel your pain. I'll end up with whatever I go buy myself more than likely. My family always tells me I am so hard to shop for, I think it is more the fact that they just don't take the time to learn what I'm interested in. It's not that hard to buy a gift that a person can use. It's not about the money, it's about taking the time to get something. Oh well, I'll stop ranting and go back to surfing the internet.

This is a shame. My dad is very hard to buy for, but that doesn't stop me from making an effort.

Tomorrow Daddy gets to open theses Oliva's , a chive flag, 18 year Jamison then gets pampered with a salmon dinner and cookies from the kids....all while watching the recorded hockey game which he missed last night... Fun times!!

I got these from my lovely daughter this morning:



They are a Maine Regional Edition special release, only 7 were made, one in each vitola. I'll have one tomorrow and the rest will be going down for some aging. Even though the wrapper is already two years old the filler needs time to mature.

That is awesome! Savor them though, I think they'll be a quick smoke.

My father's day gift was a realization of how lucky I am to have my wife.

She just had surgery and is on a long road to recovery. She won't be moving around too well for the next 3 months.
So I am finding out all the little things she takes care of in the house. Things that, for the last 30 years she has done.

I am also becoming aware of how inept I am at taking care of things in the house.
I've always taken care of the repair stuff of the house, but the everyday workings of dinner, dishes, washing clothes, cleaning and all of that, I am clueless.
So today, when I attempted a lot of that stuff, I realized how little I knew about it or where anything was.
It did give my wife cause to giggle quite a few times. LOL!

Anyway, it is a gift.
