I was thinking the Norteno also. Haven't smoked one, but they are out in all of the B&Ms i go to, get rave reviews, and are part of DE's new offerings. When i was getting CA for free i used to see the swisher premium brands all of the mag and the Casino Gold got a 92+ rating. it would make sense.catfishbluezz:Think of a notable blender that hadn't got it... I don't know that Crowned Heads has enough of a presence in that mag to get it really. I mean, they typically get it to one of the big shots every year. Ernesto could be the guy. Pete sure talks mad *** every year after it though, which is why I could see him, but it would also be giving it to DPG again in two years. He may be blacklisting himself because of it. Yeah I would not be surprised, they get no love in CA, but that merger will change things if you ask me. Willie has been in the game long enough to deserve the accolade, even if his blends have changed in nature since moving to DE.brianetz1:

Honestly, I can get on that bandwagon. I don't know about best because I haven't tried many of the others, but I love the Melanio. It's probably the prettiest cigar on the market that I've seen, too. But didn't it come out last year?Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.
I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot. I will smoke anything, though.0 -

enjoyed every melanio i've had but putting it ahead of some of the others on the list (ESG and HdM for example) ehhhhh dunno about that.
looking forward to seeing the other annual "top cigar" lists when they come out.
