How to bypass the ****

Just noticed this by accident.

If you hold down a vowel key, you get a small popup menu of various vowel alternatives where you can select the associated number below it and and it'll insert itself automatically.

Warning: Be careful how you use this feature because it will bypass the vulgarity filter.

Edit: this is an Apple feature which also works in iDevices.

     If you're on a Windows machine or Android, you need to figure out how to access the vowels with the macrons like the ones below.

    à é í ō ú

    By using these vowels with certain words, you'll get the word you want instead of ****

    Hmm, this thread went wrong last night. I was enjoying a nice cigar, watching the Yankees game and I tapped into the Southern Comfort bottle a few too many times to ease the pain as the Yankee's bullpen was put through the meat grinder.

    Anyways, my intentions for this thread is help bypass the annoying, over-sensitive vulgarity filter when it blocks out certain words that it shouldn''t - not to enable you all to abuse it like I do.

    Note to self: don't type on CCom after drinking.
