You Are So Guitarded!
I hope Michael's address is sharp enough for y'all to read. Hehehe...
Thank you, sir. And yes, I use the term very loosely. ;-)

So, now we're including checks with bombs? Interesting concept..."When I have found intense pain relieved, a weary brain soothed, and calm, refreshing sleep obtained by a cigar, I have felt grateful to God, and have blessed His name." - Charles Haddon Spurgeon5

I'm pretty sure he wants me to bomb him some beans.Puff_Dougie said:So, now we're including checks with bombs? Interesting concept...

I'm sure if you look into their portfolios you will find they not only hold large amounts of coolers but also mailboxes6

Right? Remember the "old days" when airyone went crazy when you sent someone a sampler box or something? They'd be like, "so we're bombing boxes now?" And next thing ya know, airyones dropping boxes.
We should have like a money pass. Same concept as the cigars but, you know, swap out bills.

I like this concept. Let's do this in the middle of summer. I'll take a $100 bill and put my electric bill.......WaltBasil said:We should have like a money pass. Same concept as the cigars but, you know, swap out bills.
hahaha... that's worse than taking out a premium Benjamin and replacing it with your everyday Washington.0 -

Let me say something about addresses, and why in retrospect I see it was a mistake to post a photo of @Guitarded's check...
A dear member PM'd me about it, and helped me understand that while it may have had some humor to it, it could set a poor example to the many newer members regarding the open sharing of addresses. And of course, he is correct; it's one thing to ask for nachos, or get an address behind the scenes via a PM. But it is never appropriate to post addresses in a public thread. (Along those lines, be careful when attempting to PM someone, that you are clicking into the Message system, and not simply posting something to their 'wall' where everyone can read it)
I hesitated for a moment before posting the photo of Michael's check, and the reason I felt comfortable doing it was that he had already posted his own address in a public thread a month or so back; figured if he had already done so, there was little harm in my photo. But now that I look back (and I'm sad that this forum software has the screwy 1-hr. edit limit) I see that it was wrong, and am mainly concerned that newer members don't follow my poor example.
Hopefully, this serves as a little housekeeping, guidelines reminder to not share addy's in the threads.
Thanks.

I bet if you pm'd an admin or @krebsie saw this he could do some magic and remove the photo.Team O'Donnell FTW!

I agree, It's one thing to share addys behind the scenes but not in the open interwebs. Folks may say the risk for negative consequences is low and I might agree with that especially in this case because mike had already openly spilled his addy. But, we should maintain each others privacy in this specific way.

But, we should maintain each others privacy in this specific way.You are, without a doubt, a true gentleman. I understand your humor in posting the pic of my addy. I have posted it earlier as a noob in a thread, without thinking of the possible negative repercussions. The only damage so far has been to my poor little mailbox, needing repair or replacement often after joining this group!!
I hope no one will think any less of my friend and fellow BOTL for trying to get me to laugh, which he does quite often. Peter is an intelligent, kind, and caring human being, and I value his friendship immensely. But enough of that. LOL
Since my addy is out and about, I am opening an orphanage for refugees from the communist island south of Miami. Old, young, tall, short, fat, thin, and all colors are welcome to come and stay as long as they would like. They will be kept at a comfortable temperature and fed pure distilled water while they are my guests. I would also like to invite their cousins, especially the HR1845, LFD, and the Ave Maria family. Roma Craft have their own wing!
Sincerely, Michael
