Asking about a boutique cigar or a new blend you may have heard about is part of the forum. If people want to send you some to try out of generosity, that is what makes this forum great. If you are like 99.99% of this forum and would jump at the opportunity to help someone else who was interested in trying a new cigar no one will ever question your intentions.
If you blatantly ask about some of the best known and highest rated cigars in the world which are readily available, odds are you are begging. You should not feel the need to ask about a Davidoff, Opus, or Monte #2. Buy one and try it for yourself.
I think the begging term has gotten out of hand through joking around lately. Hopefully people will not stop asking about cigars. That is the basic function of the forum.7 -
