Raffle for Charity --- Support Dallas PD

If you turned on the TV or read this morning's newspaper you know about the tragedy in Dallas and the deadly terrorist attack on Dallas' police officers last night. (Yes, the people that did this should be considered terrorists).

Please show your support for Dallas PD by making a contribution to the RMS Listener's foundation.  (More information below, copied and pasted from another website.)
Hello. My name is Alfie Coy and I am a part of The Russ Martin Show on 97.1 The Eagle here in DFW.

For those of you who may not be aware, we run a foundation that supports the family of Dallas-Fort Worth area police officers and firefighers. The way our foundation works is that when a police officer or firefighter falls in the line of duty, we cut a substantial check made out to the officer or firefighter's next-of-kin. This is designed to provide emergency funds for any needs that the family have in the aftermath of a tragedy.

Today has been the single worst day that we have witnessed since the foundation was started. At the time of this writing, 4 officers have died. In the coming days we will be writing checks to the families of these officers. However, we need your help. Our foundation has the funds to cover these checks, but if tonight gets any worse, we will be in trouble.

Regardless of your thoughts on any number of political issues, I ask that if you have any love for your fellow humans, be they blue, black, or otherwise, please donate to our foundation. We run a clean ship, with over 99% of all donated funds going directly to the families of police officers and firefighters. No one gets paid to be on the board and we work hard to take care of those who take care of us.

    As of right now we're at $335 donated...pretty good.

    But for a little encouragement these last couple days ..... if we hit $500 I'll toss in an extra 5-er for the winner.

    Hey brad thanks for the support! I'll get your numbers added to the spreadsheet on Monday when I'm back at a computer, before I draw the number.  Too hard to edit the spreadsheet on my phone.
