    Been a crazy day to start hockey's free agency. A lot of big moves,Backes to the bruins. Crazy

    World cup of hockey is right around the corner. Really like the format, think I'm going to have to cheer for the North American team. All from the U.S and Canada, under the age of 23.

    I need it to be October! I'm having withdraws! At least the World Cup starts soon. That will help get me through the rest of the off season

    I'm really excited to see how the Blues look this season. I definitely think we'll be more of a speed team than in years past. 
    How do you feel the Blackhawks off season went?

    It hasn't been as drastic as off seasons past, but always sucks to see young talent get moved. The hawks have a great farm system, that turns out a lot of good players.

    Yea you guys do always great young guys who step up each year.  I hated seeing Backes and Brouwer go but glad we didn't sign them to the contracts they wanted. In my opinion they would become the next Bouwmeester contracts in a few years and would kill our ability to sign younger talent

    Ok here's an interesting topic Do you think it was wise of the Ducks management to rehire the coach what won them the Cup in 07??

    He's a great coach, might be what the ducks need to make it to the next level. Can't blame all the problems in Toronto on him, the leafs can make any coach look bad.

    Matt Calvert takes a puck to the face that required thirty-six stitches and returned to score the game winning goal.

    yeah man Calvert is a freaking beast.

    was watching that one live on TV and didn't think he'd return.
    you could tell that everyone was surprised he came back, the announcers, teammates on the bench, and fans in the arena were surprised.  i thought the announcers said he got a standing ovation on his first shift back on the ice.

    caught him right above the eye, DAMN lucky it didn't hit him in the eye.

    Another Tough Guy Award from last night. Brady Skjei took a skate to the face. He lost two teeth and required sixteen stitches and returned to the game. https://youtu.be/vGUOoE3-EDk
