    I make the venison in a slow cooker.  I think it would be too lean to make on a smoker like pork.  The pizza I just add some to a crust and top with some mozzarella and some additional bbq sauce.  

    Venison roast probably 3  lbs (i used some pieces of backstrap as well)
    1 red onion chopped
    1 bottle bbq sauce
    1 bottle root beer
    1 packet beefy onion soup mix
    Slow cooker on low for 7-8 hours
    Take meat out and shred it.  
    Add 1 Tablespoon corn starch to the sauce and stir
    Add meat back in and let cook another 20-30 minutes

    @Chuck_N and @Devildog1 two big beasts there. wow, haven't been my first back surgery 2004, I miss it, love the pictures. you guys are rocking it.

    My nephew got his last year's elk mount done and back.
    Wouldn't fit in the house until he gets some things moved around, so it's in the shop. LOL!
