    I finally got a bottle of Pappy. I just lit my last Gurka El Presidenti (the original) and I have at least 4 hours of alone time while the wife is out visiting. Just polished off a breakfast of Rapa Scrapple and farm fresh eggs. The coffee was perfect.
    I hope everyone's day is as pleasant, and satisfying as mine. I also hope the New Year treats you all, and your families, with happiness and prosperity.

    Christmas is in the books. Hope everyone enjoyed the past few days. Despite the rain, the weather was mild here and my sore throat cleared up so that I was able to enjoy a cigar with my dad in his garage on Christmas eve. (Otherwise I might have been cigar-sad.) Mom said she smelled cigars in the garage 24 hours later, but according to my polling of available family members, she's the only one. Merry Christmas to all my brothers and sisters of the leaf. Happy new year to come!

    Something about the females nose and smelling ability to drive us males crazy. My wife is the same way.
