I just saw on the news his city was evacuated because of that dam that's failing.

If the Marta's have to evacuate, my guess is they'll head to the casino.

Marty just replied to a text. He says they're OK... spent the night in their car at a neighboring fairground, and are home again, albeit perhaps temporarily. He's going to try and post an update when he can.

Yeah, I'd sorely miss our resident oldfart if anything happened to him. Marty's the one responsible for my being a part of this family; we met on a coffee forum and one day he posted something about cigars. We traded emails for a bit, and he convinced me to check out the Ccom forum. He's a great brother, as many of you know, and a joy to smoke with, whether in person or on Vherf.

I just got an email from him. He and his child bride spent the night in their car at the fairgrounds in the neighboring County.
I offered to wire him some money for a hotel room, but he's got it under control.

It's possible that they may evacuate them again though.
