Re: The cigar that describes you!
SleevePlz: Vision: SleevePlz: Vision:Casa Blanca. Short, thick and no one wants me near their mouth. What are we talking about... o_O Not the CAO Vision? Im still looking for some :) but I hear the flavor was meh and burn sucked. Wish I knew. Someone was selling some on OLH a few months ago. That's how I found out they… -
Re: Vegas: Casa Fuente, NO. Rhumbar, YES!
I visit Vegas 1-3 times a month (just got back myself) and have to disagree with you. I've been to Rhumbar multiple times and have not enjoyed it as much as Casa Fuente. Sure Casa Fuente isnt the best but is better than Rhumbar. I think the problem is that everyone hypes the place up more than it really is. Just to clear… -
Re: Legado de Pepin
1/3 in now. I will say the spice on the first few draws was everything I've heard about pepin. It settles down quite nicely from there. I keep getting hints of black licorice or maybe fennel on the finish. Draw so far is great and burn razor sharp. Shes holding a one inch ash. burn is a little funky around the half way… -
Re: laying brikks versus playing prikks
Wow. Just wow. As you say, so much work for probably so little success. Wonder how many of these they have to set up a day to get a real punter? Although I would assume that $1,200 was a low enough figure that it wouldn't seem worth questioning. And I would suspect the "lawyer" would ask for your credit card number "to… -
Re: I felt dirty.
sightunseen: stephen_hannibal:ACID =Chemical fire in your mouth. I do like the Natural line though. Every single one that I've had has been pretty good. I'm still waiting to try the Liga and the other non infused lines. Liga Privada No.9 and T52 are fantastic smokes. Awesome enough to justify all the chemical fires DE has… -
Re: What would you do?
My only experience with anything remotely close is my time turning wrenches and sale of tires in a small town coop shop. 3 of us worked there and shared duties. We all knew or jobs so general manager seen no need for shop lead. Of the very few times I took time off if 1 of my people came in for service, repair or tires… -
Re: Rocket's red glare, bombs bursting in air.
Jetmech_63:I dont think we play it enough. Sporting events provide a mass forum to briefly remind people of something we so dearly lack, national identity. Rubs me absolutley raw when people dont stand and remove their hats(or get off their cell phones and generally shut up). If nothing else it's a gesture of respect and… -
Re: Newbie looking for recommendations
Tatuaje tattoo. In my newbie opinion smokes like a $15 cigar but you can get em all day long and twice on Sunday $5 a stick. My personal opinion no humi complete without 1. Check out the what you smoking threads. I have yet to put a stick in my mouth I haven't liked by using them as a suggestion thread. These guys on here… -
Re: Man Up Video: How to smoke a real cigar
kuzi16:so he insults the guy by saying he cant handle smoking cigars, gives him a crappy cigar, tells him to cut off potentially too much of the cap, then makes the cigar even worse by dipping it in cognac. Ned, quit spamming your cigar shop on a competitors forum, and "man up" by treating your customers with respect. i… -
Re: newbie suggestions
From the limited mild to mediums I've smoked (kinda jumped right into medium full to full) I liked the Ave Maria imaculata. I had 1 5 Vegas classic which was pretty decent for a budget stick. I've liked every Romeo y Julie I've had, every Ave Marie. I've yet to try Arturo Fuente except cubanitos (I enjoy for a quick smoke)…
