Re: GRow Your own?
the best way to cure is in a curing chamber that you can build yourself. both the humidity and the temp need to be regulated but it can be done for not as much as you think. with a bit of effort and some time, it isnt unheard of. For the sides of the tobacco curing chamber use sheets of 2-inch thick polystyrene. three-ish… -

cholmes8310: laker1963: rdnstn: laker1963:I grabbed a Xikar II recently on a suggestion from Jeff. I couldn't be happier with it. Very sharp, great ergonomic design and a lifetime gaurantee. I LIKE IT ! I may get an Xi2. I just prefer the all metal Xi or the wood handles of the Xi3 but functionally they are all the same. I… -

Re: Cigar of the Month Club
I've been pretty happy with the club & I've been a member for about a year. It gets me to try cigars that maybe I normally wouldn't have purchased. This month had all of Don Pepin's cigars in it. 2 from the JJ Series, 1 Cuban Classic, 1 from the regular line, & a 5 Vegas Miami cigar. Last month had a Graycliff Double… -
Re: Converting antique China cabinet into humidor.
Your plan sounds good and it's definitely doable. Go with at least at least 1/4 inch spanish cedar boards....the thicker the better since they'll help maintain your RH. If you can find 1/2 inch boards and it won't break the bank, go for those As @onestrangeone ; suggested, you'll definitely pay a premium at Woodcraft and… -
Re: What different jobs are out there?
well, we arent really a call center so it could be worse. half the cases that come in get closed within 5 days or so cause the |user never calls back, 1/4 of them are cases the front level should have been able to fix if they put forth SOME effort in troubleshooting. the other 1/4 are legit problems, most of which are… -
Re: Air Rifles
Yeah, I had no idea airsoft was as big as it is either! For air rifles, the rabbit hole goes as deep as you could ever wanna go, and then some. I've seen air rifles ranging from $50 up to $2000, with calibers from .177 up to a .357 and a .50. I would've never thought a pellet rifle could kill any North American game…
