    There is that, and customs agents aren't looking for people bringing a few cuban/ faux-cuban cigars into the country as much as people trying to smuggle pot/cocaine/heroin and turtles over.

    This just in...since I am over here in Iraq, I get to talk to folks that go through customs often. I heard recently that if you go through customs with cigars that do not have bands on them then they will be taken. Save your bands, take them with you when you travel...just in case you find some good smokes that 'don't have bands on them'.
